Maybe that's why. I frequently die in normal raids which I am not comfortable with, but I very rarely die in ARR extremes except for the attacks that kill everyone. Also many people are dying in normal raids (especially Lv80 ones), even though everyone should be an expert in this game.

Jobs are basically the promotions for classes. Rogue is not a job, but Ninja is the job for the Rogue class. Except for expansion-based jobs, which have no base class, all classes get their job access at lv30 as Wynne said.

Ok, a bit of a longer question. I'm on Gilgamesh and have queued for maybe 5 dungeons so far. The first 4 had no ability lag whatsoever, the 5th had pretty awful ability lag where my off-gcds were taking at least half a second longer to trigger. Open-world has had no lag so far at all. Is this more of an issue with duty finder or will I expect ability lag in raids even if everyone in my guild is based from the same server?
basically, if I should expect ability lag in raiding I just won't bother leveling any more. It's kinda silly being in a dungeon and getting half-second delays
