@undone current there is plenty of risk, if the launcher development falls into the hands of bad actors. I lost an account along with many other people back in the day because one of the launcher devs for another game decided they wanted to sell account information and cash out.

The ff14 3rd party launcher is most likely safe, but its always going to be a trust between you and someone else to hand your login credentials discretely and privately to Sqenix without peeking, and I wouldn't trust a human face to face with that so why would I trust an internet stranger with that.

Leveling isn't synced to MSQ progress past the *.0 portion of it (2.0, 3.0, 4.0, etc)

since the rest is patches that come out after you're max level

so you'll get exp for doing the 50 quests and end up way above the expected level probably

this isn't really a good way to look at it because the MSQ generally gives you enough EXP to make it to the next threshold by itself, and if not you can easily augment it with roulettes

@umbral dune I'm half sure if you crafted it with 1, the exp goes to this. E.g. iirc a bsm recipe is considered different as a crp recipe for custome delivery
