I haven't been able to find a list of current raids, doesn't help that I can't hit most of the gaming sites on my work computer due to them being locked.

I just remember from WoW BC there was something like, okay you start in tier 4 and its these two places and then here for tier 5 etc...

As I look to find to an FC or static for raiding, just wanting to know what to look for and what to advertise for.

There aren't really 'current raids' atm since we're in a big lull before an expansion

Eden's Promise (Savage) is the most current raid tier technically but they're pretty old

Eden's promise the final 4 raids of the Eden raid series is the current raid tier. The versions require the completion of the normal versions.

They require main story quest progress past at least 5.3.

In terms of finding a static it'll vary between data centers check the recruitment channel for your data center here and check #resources for data center specific discords

there are stylized armor for each job, every expansion each job will get a new version of artifact armor (AF gear). its generally one of the weaker sets in any given expac, but its used in the first few weeks of every expac. for ShB its the gear you get from doing the role quests

you don't worry too much about gears unless you are either level 50/60/70/80

dungeons gears are plenty enough, though you still need to run through the same dungeon a few times to get decent gears to survive.

crafting/gathering are entirely optional, and generally its recommended to wait until you're max lv to do crafter as it'll be much easier to level them when you've got a bunch of things unlock and have a decent amount of gil.
