I'm trying to diversify my roles for top tier content. I got to 4/5 Bahamut's coil when it was the hardest content with less than 1% cleared.

Back then, certain classes were just plain better than others such as Paladin>Warrior.

1. Is this still the case for classes, or are they more balanced now?
2. Can top tier raids be cleared using only Dragoon/only Samurai etc?
3. So I kind of suck now, and was wondering what the easiest melee dps class is for end game. For example I heard Samurai is easy to start with, but is one of the toughest to master.

Simple answer is yes it is in terms of experience. Ideally you should touch the max level for that expansion and then go to a new class to maximize the shared leveling of content. Though thanks to ample amount of leveling dungeons and roulettes it’s not a need

Not a bad thing to do in terms of leveling. Ideally you want 2 or 3 for msq and you can do leveling for others. Under ideal circumstances you’d wanna touch minimum the max level for that expansion. And then level everything else up. This will help keep an xp buff from food, fc, and your highest level job.

My queue popped for a duty but I missed it like an idiot (I was tabbed out but right after that I turned on the setting that keeps sounds on when I’m tabbed out so that doesn’t happen again), and then I queued again, got in, and my power went out in the middle of the dungeon. So if I get one more penalty today do I get a 30 minute time out or something? Wasn’t entirely sure, I read that the penalty count resets every day or something.

You don’t exactly need to do potd if you do Netflix roulette that’s a solid level and some for prae and just under a level for the other one. If you wanna do potd for leveling to 60 you’d have to spam floors 51-60 and eventually toss a 59 leveling dungeon in there

Is there a way to know what a boss is casting? I did my first raid today in crystal tower and at last boss someoen said he'll cast flare and before that gotta run to the pad for your alliance. I ran when I saw people running, but is there a way to tell what a boss is casting? Or did they mean look at the animation?
