As for Samurai, people might think it's braindead easy class - for starters yes but when you bring into the factor of the myriad boss mechanics, you can get lost track in your priorities of what to cast next

'What is Glamour and how do I unlock it?'

Glamour is the process of changing an equipment's look into a different item with the use of Glamour Prisms. You can unlock the ability to glamour by doing the level 15 quests 'If I Had a Glamour' in Vesper Bay, West Thanalan. Although not required, you can unlock the ability to dye gear with the nearby quest 'Color Your World'. You can get the Orange Juice needed by talking to the nearby Merchant & Mender. Items used for glamouring are not lost upon use.

'How do I glamour? Where do I get more Prisms?'

Glamouring is done by right-clicking (Square or X on controllers) on the equipment you want to glamour and choosing the option 'Cast Glamour'. After clicking this you choose the item you want the appearance on the right half of the menu that opened up. You can get more Glamour Prisms by either crafting them after completing the quest 'Absolutely Glamourous', buying them from your Grand Company Quartermaster, or buying them from the marketboard.

@willow spear Also note that they cleaned up tank abilities since Stormblood, namely for PLD theres only one Oath to worry about - and Rage/Royal share a button now. Might feel easier.

I'd call DRK harder than PLD myself but it all depends on perspective - PLD and WAR are still base classes and I'd call them both easier than DRK and certainly GNB.
To be honest when you're looking at tanks, if you have one you can have them all since they share gear so closly anyways, you know? If you have them all leveled, you really get to pick and choose what you feel like in the moment. (With a bonus that you can ditch your leveling gear forever)

Why am I Past lv50 Without the Abilities of My Job

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

Sorry late, dunno if you got an answer but I would say all melee have the same number of abilities, and it isnt a low number - less cooldowns than a tank sure but generally more weaponskills. Personally I like DRG and SAM but theres nothing wrong with MNK and NIN either, its all going to be totally subjective/preference.
Note that leveling DRG will give you a leg on on Reaper in the new expac, as they share gear!

Its normal, base game and each expac are split into two parts - You're in the "ARR Post game(Patches 2.1 thru 2.5)" AKA the place we were at for 2 years in between ARR And HW.
You can still get exp from roulettes and the usual stuff but you wont "need" it because "The next 80 quests are meant for level 50's as well", know what I mean?

Good catch - they share a level but they DONT share job quests. So you have to and should be doing both job Quests every 5 levels (Or two after 50).
They dont share gear either after 49 so keep that in mind as well*

I mean like you can do daily beast tribe quests and they'll reward whatever class you did them on with exp, its like a few FATEs worth so its not bad exp. In HW when you get there you'd be looking at Vanu, Gnath, and Moogle for crafting specific (which ARE good for crafter exp, although now we have Ishgard resto of course).

Yeah only very specific Beast Tribes give crafter exp. Ixal for ARR, Moogles in HW, Namazu in SB, etc.
Each beast tribes give you three quests a day and these 3 quests give pretty good exp for crafters if you hop in them. You can also buy crafter tools, crafter gear, etc. But remember that Crafting/gathering is NOT required in any way shape or form so dont feel pressured

I signed up for the free trial and installed the client from the free trial installer (Windows PC). I then came over to another location where I have a second PC, and am trying to install the game to play here as well. The FAQ sends me to the free trial sign up page, which doesn't let me download because I already signed up. I tried going to account management, but I have been unable to find a download link. I tried the standard installer download, but it wants me to provide a license key that I don't have. I'm not sure how I can get the client installed so I can play on this second computer
