How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

to directly answer your question, some ninjas do use a shukuchi macro that teleports you right to your target

since shukuchi is one of the ground-targeted skills

but, to reiterate, macros for combat are bad and you should limit your use of them if at all possible

the main downside of this is that you need to be closer to the boss, since it teleports you to the center of their hitbox
