In terms of meta- it doenst matter, everything is pretty much balanced, however in terms of playstyle dragoon (in my opinion) is amazing at 80, the problem is leveing, since dragoon doesnt feel complete up to 80 and its very easy to feel bored during low level content

Hopefully this is the best place to ask this question. I noticed ffxiv is the only game I used on obs that has low quality when I stream. Every other game looks fine, but in ffxiv the stream quality looks choppy. I have good internet that's not the problem. It's double exp for a lot of things (though not all) and it helps you stay higher level than the MSQ so you never have to go back and grind exp, it's really nice. So yes, you can level just by doing MSQ and class quests, might have to do a few dungeons here and there without the exp buff to stay up to date though.

DNC and GNB start at 60 and takes less catch up
either way you're gonna have to catch up to MSQ so just pick another class and run your leveling roulette/spam dungeons and catch them up
