Basically everything freezes for 3-4 secs at a time before they skip to somewhere else

And occasionally complete disconnects

Or just wait it out and at a later date it might be better.

There were some intermittent server issues a few weeks ago (some attributed it to DDoS) but I haven't heard of any problems very recently.

Oh we currently have no house at all, FC is only bout 6 days old

like, small plots become available all the time currently (& will up to 6.1),
it's only a small investment of like 3.5m, but being able to just instantly relocate to a bigger plot once it becomes available is such a huge benefit opposed to houseless which have to stand in front of a plot for hours to get it.

so once your FC becomes rank 6 be on the lookout for any plot 👍

What does each skip do?

Tales of Adventure: <EXPACNAME> This item skips the story quests on the character you get it on to the end of the expansion listed. All the main story quests and aether current quests up to that point will be completed. It will not increase your character's job levels. Any MSQ rewards missed can be obtained at the calamity salvager or from the market board except the free fantasia, which is forfeit. It is advised to install it on an SSD, the game litteraly needs it. An HDD is simply too slow for the game itself for many things.
