Stormblood Expansion Jobs: Red Mage (Caster DPS) and Samurai (Melee DPS). These jobs start at level 50 and require ownership of the Stormblood Expansion and a disciple of war or magic job at level 50.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

A lot of presets people make are for picture taking. Find ones that are for playing use, and learn a bit about how to alter filters. You can adjust them manually to your liking that way. It takes a bit of time to tune things to your personal preference, but it's worth it

Which world should I pick?

'How can I unlock Flying?'

Flying is unlocked through the collecting of a zone's Aether Currents, with every zone having ten 'green' Aether Currents found in the overworld and five 'yellow' Aether Currents obtained through the MSQ and side quests marked with a plus sign. Azys Lla is the only zone to not have any green Aether Currents. You must collect all Aether Currents in a zone to be able to fly.

Flying is unlocked in A Realm Reborn zones simply by completing the level 50 story quest 'The Ultimate Weapon'.

'Where can I find the green Aether Currents?'

Upon obtaining the Story Quest 'Divine Intervention' you get the Aether Compass, which is a key item you can use to locate the nearest non-quest Aether Current. That's Rested Experience, which is an extra source of bonus experience shared between all of your classes. You gradually earn this while inside a sanctuary (town or area with a major aetheryte), regardless of whether you're online or not. Sanctuaries are also indicated with a crescent moon icon near your experience bar.

'How much of a boost is it?'

The most amount of rested experience you can have at once is one and a half levels of experience. That means that lower level jobs use up the rested experience faster than higher level jobs do.

I'm mid way through the heavensword quest line for the first time and in order to progress I have to do a trial. Issue is that the estimated time for a group as a tank or healer is around 30 minutes, waited an hour as white mage and still was the only person in the pary.
