the backup index is different you use the og client to do it this on Texttools it reset the edited game files used by the mods

Alright so I just hit 60 last night on DRG and picked up GNB- which is the class that I wanted to use to tank. I've played MMOs before, but this is really my first time doing dungeons/raids so I'm just wondering what sort of things I should/could do to learn tanking? hey all, bit of a technical problem, hope i can get some help. So I installed the version of the game from the square enix site (non-steam). Lots of my character settings weren't saving between play sessions, eg hotbar/UI changes/Gear sets. I think this is because my character folder is read-only. Wouldn't let me remove the read-only attribute, if i untick it, it ticks itself after i exit the window. I thought I could try reinstalling the game to a different folder - however I cannot reinstall the free trial client, after logging into the sqenix on the free trial webpage it tells me:
"Square Enix accounts that have already registered for a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account are not eligible for a free trial.
Please log in using a Square Enix account that has not registered a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account."
Any help on reinstalling/fixing the read-only issue would be appreciated. Thanks!
