Gerolt weapon is a relic weapon

They're super grindy but can eventually be the best weapon of a given expansion.

Unfortunately to do that in arr you need to optimize materia and do a ton of shit. It'll take soo long you could probably get all the way to stormblood before you're close to finished.

None of the cash shop items are required. The SDS Fenrir is useful because of the 1* base speed. The Eastern Lord/Lady isn't worth the money because it's glamour, so it has no stats.

The only xp buff that affects quest turn in xp is the Road to 70 buff for characters created on Preferred servers.

'When can I get my first mount?'

The quest that allows you to use mounts, 'My Little Chocobo' is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest 'The Company You Keep'. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose and you'll need to buy the Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 needed Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes after 'The Company You Keep'.

'Are there any differences between mounts?'

Besides looks, all mounts are the same speed along with being able to fly. Some mounts allow multiple people to ride at once.

'Can I make my mount faster?'

Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Basically, all servers within a datacenter are connected for the purposes of instanced content. You can also visit other servers on your datacenter directly if you wish.

Content done through the duty finder matches you with players from across all worlds on the Aether datacentre. The Party Finder is also crossworld. If you want to go to other worlds on your datacentre in person; for example to buy from their marketboard, do open-world content like hunts, or just to visit friends; you can do so with world visit
