The number of days subscribed will not be a total from all friends recruited. Also note that even if two or more friends have been recruited, these rewards will only be awarded once per service account.

You’re near the point where the main story quests converge. Once you finish the introductory chapter and get sent on a tour of the other cities by airship, the story becomes the same regardless of your starting point. Even without a party, you can still do quests together.

any job eligible to run x content it needs can do it

you still need to complete the lvl 20 MSQ to unlock your job at lvl 30.

I've been doing every quest--every one I can find--and just got to the Aetherochemical Research Facility trial. However, I can't do it because my item level is a bit too low. Where can I find more powerful weapons? None of the quests I've done to this point nets me a 145 power level on my items.

once you complete the 60 job quest, you'll get a coffer. use that and it should give you enough ilvl to do the trial
