'How do I get the bonus experience from the Armoury?'

As long as you're playing a Disciple of War or a Disciple of Magic class that's a lower level than your highest level class then you're able to benefit from the bonus experience. You do not need to have a class at level 80 for the bonus to be active.

'How much is the bonus experience?'

You get +100% experience from levels 1 to 69, which then reduces to +50% for level 70 to 79. The difference in level between your current class and highest class does not change the amount of experience you get.

it can also just kinda take a bit of practice to get used to things, how much damage people can safely take, when you need to step in for more healing, etc

it doesn't hurt to lean a bit more into healing if you're not feeling as comfortable/confident, but it's definitely still more of the norm when you're in the swing of things to still focus dps more in majority of situations
