if you're comfortable with tank then yeah its pretty easy to swap

You get all the mounts you would get from the MSQ. Minions too.
For class skips, you complete all the 'content unlock' quests all the way up to what specified, but you don't get the gear rewards that'd normally come from them and would need to be obtained elsewhere (Prepare to suffer Centurio hunts for those Lv. 60 sets, worm.)

... As for that unicorn, it isn't part of the class questline, so...

Story related mounts such as the company chocobo, black chocobo, and manacutter are automatically acquired yes. Unicorn is something of a hidden extra though so you would have to get that yourself later.

Every gear piece does indicate what crafter it needs, what kind of dark matter and at what level for self-repair.

You don't need to level a crafter to repair gear, you can also go to an NPC to repair it for you for a fee. (They won't repair it beyond 100%, self-repair simply adds 100% to the durability.)

It took me about 400 hours to complete the whole MSQ before the changes, from base to end of Shadowbringers as a white mage, meaning I got insta queues, so if you actually do MSQ on a DPS I think it can take even longer, although I did move in a pretty slow way + watched cutscenes/read the story

You're multiplying damage output by 1.05. Multiplying a bigger number is better than multiplying a smaller number. Tanks and healers do still do damage (and in some cases one may be the top dps because of player skill disparity) but, all things being equal, it's a dps buff for dps.

As you rest, you acrue a period where monster kills and certain other things will give you bonus xp. That orange bar represents how much bonus xp you have banked. You bank this by staying in sanctuaries--cities and aetheryte towns, and it accumulates whether you are logged in or not.

If you have enough of this bonus to go past the next level, the bar will be blue instead.

Dungeon clears, and other xp are not affected by this, so a little rested XP can actually carry forth into multiple levels.

Every good story in ShB does it, every story we complain about in ARR does it. It's the structure the entire game is hung on.

Yes, roulettes also get filled with people queueing directly for stuff. And well it depends. The bonus is definitely huge, but if you get a dungeon close to your actual level in the roulette then that's doubly good

Either way, do the roulettes once per day, they are worth it
