Another quick way to make Gil at low level is to need/greed gear from dungeon and sell them to NPC. you can change the setting to make gears go into your inventory instead of your armory, this should make it easier to know what to keep and what to sell. (don't ask me how, I did it almost 6-7 years ago)
Another one would be selling potions and foods rewarded from quests, they aren't really that useful

Elemental Armor is much more simpler. You buy it with tokens in Pyros, upgrade with tokens in Hydatos, and then the final upgrade with tokens from the Baldesion Arsenal make it into the OP Eureka armor with the Elemental Bonus.
