yes if you do hunts for tomes to get cryptlurker (ilvl520), and then upgrade it with items via nier raid coins, the items will be itemlvl 530, while upgraded exarchic is 520.
savage raid gear is also itemlvl 530 and can have more optimal stats for your job, but for those specific details i suggest you check "the balance" discord for your job specific best gear
