I think there's a way to take your currrent character and make it a template, then "create a new character" and load the template then modify it

Changing race would reset that template to the new race defaults. Unfortunately there's not really any good "preview" options, as even if you use the fantasia, it makes you unequip all of your gear and unlocked hairstyles aren't available in the creator.

How do you get to the point where you can use Brunt Force in botanist skills? It requires a chain of 4 or higher to be usable. I've yet to find a node with more than 4 uses, and the chain timer resets in the time it takes to get to the next node in line
