You don't need to finish every unlock quest. The hardmode (not ex) primals and crystal tower are mandatory, but not anything else.

In these kind of quests, there's always one NPC actively hiding. Check behind buildings, on pathways that are technically in the orange area, in buildings, on top of buildings, check every nook and cranny

At the beginning of the third to last fight I managed to lose aggro of the boss to the healer even with tank stance on (and ofc I was doing my combos), but even MORE weirdly I managed to lose it a second time after I provoked to grab aggro back. Eventually I got it back and things went back to normal. I swear I had tank stance on the entire time, so I'm just ???

Losing aggro to a healer at the beginning of a fight is likely due to some regen effect they have going on, because that generates aggro too
As for the other incident: Provoke only matches the highest current enmity and adds 1 to it. So if there is still some regen going on for example you can still lose it again, it doesn't provide you with much of an aggro lead

No it was the first Ultima weapon fight when he was invuln. Since you can't really hurt him for the first few seconds you can't establish good aggro. While healers can heal for full during that time and rip aggro. Once the boss loses his invuln after a few seconds tanks can grab aggro like normal again since they do full damage

i2501 is a pretty generic error code for them. It could mean a lot of things, especially when it comes to account creation. Your best bet will in fact be contacting support, but please do ask questions here. We tend to respond quicker than support. Just know that you're likely going to run into issues in general while trying to create an account for a region you aren't a part of. If support doesn't pan out, ping here again in a few hours when more people are active, as that's when you'll find folks that have done what you're doing and know the work arounds.

You can get 520 with tomestones and then either do the newest tier savage raids for upgrade tokens to upgrade it to 530 or when the nier raid comes out do that for upgrade tokens

So I’ve been trying to figure out ilevel progression. I bought a set of 510. Then learned about revelation tomestones which I’ll grind for 520. Could someone please explain which materia I use for black mage and what’s the highest material level and how many slots there are? Also, how do you upgrade the gear to 530?

it's not just crit > dh > det for BLM, sps is a bit of a priority to get to a comfort level (usually at least 2k+, though the job continues to scale well with it past that point)
if you go all in for sps, too, you generally won't actually meld for crit, either

generally. On a min-max point of view you'll get more from not doing exactly that, but the difference is very minimal, it's not worth really worrying about at all

if you plan to do min maxing/savage content you might want to look into stat tiers and things like that, but that's.. about a million miles away from where you stand now

you'll have to retrieve the materia before you augment

you can retrieve materia at a 40% rate on a top level materia
but tbh, materia falls out of the goddamn sky. you shouldn't be concerned about it.
keep in mind your gear is actually constantly generating materia as you use it (use the extract materia command on fully bound gear)

And once EW comes out, the level 80 gear will be migrated to poetics tomestones as well.

As I'm level 58, and closing on the end of patch 2.4's MSQ, should I keep my tomestones and use them to buy level 60 gear ASAP? Instead of buying level 50 gear?

I would recommend waiting until the new xpac so you save yourself $60. Do the trial until then since you can get to level 60 without purchasing anything.
