I don't completely understand melding yet, but since the different tanks for example benefit from slightly different stat spreads, how do you build up for endgame so that you can swap between tank classes whenever you feel like it?

That can be incredibly dangerous for people who try to dodge the cleaves by running behind the clones. Assuming multiple people stack up for the teleport.

Think about it like this: You use Sentinel and it reduces dmg taken by 30%
Then after that you use rampart, which reduces the REMAINING dmg taken by 20%
So you have diminishing returns the more mitigation you stack

Also, a small, less-known tanking tip: On trash, Arm's Length makes an excellent mitigation tool. It will afflict all mobs with Slow which increases their autoattack timer/cast timer, decreasing their damage greatly.
note that it doesn't work on most bosses and doesn't actually reduce damage taken, it just makes the enemy deal damage less frequently

- Do quests. Sounds vague, and it is, but the more story quests you do the more you unlock
- New Game+ in this game is not like a Souls game or anything similar. It just resets story, allowing you to experience it again. So yes, you keep your things.
- New Game+ has various chapters to it, you can play through them in those chunks.

For Arbor Call specifically, yes, since they do different things. AC1 points to the closest node, regardless of its level. AC2 points to the highest level node, regardless of distance. For stuff like Leaf Turn/Unearth and Bountiful Harvest, generally 2 is better than 1.

It's not that PotD gives a lot of levels, but rather that for dps classes with long queue times, it's a more efficient method of leveling than queueing for dungeons. 10 floors of PotD is only about the same as doing one at-level dungeon from an xp standpoint.

but at the same time we have such an ilvl gap now that it can trivialize a lot more of the fights than what people would think

If you're shopping for a traditional VPN you're generally shopping for security and I wouldn't trust any of these companies with that in the slightest.
The main benefits for gaming VPNs are different traffic routes (which is generally only useful if your ISP is having a routing problem), a few registry tweaks to your network adapters they do on the fly which you could do yourself, and some (like Mudfish's FastConnect feature) also mess with packet acknowledgement which can make games like FF14 feel a bit more responsive for skills
