As someone who's played both DRK and GNB, I find GNB to be quite a bit easier. DRK, you have to manage your MP, the Bloodgauge, and keep your Darkside up. GNB, the only extra gauge to keep track of is your Cartridges :P

Superbolide is also really useful. If you use Living Dead as DRK and you don't have a white mage, chances are your healers will just let you die XD

I just kinda use a simplified definitely not optimal opener on my DRK, mostly cause I just use it to do like E12N and Unreal Titan and expert roulettes and nothing else, so I just open with the jump which is definitely not dmg optimal

Sorry for dumb question. Where exactly in mogstation does it say when my sub/game time expires? I bought the game approx a month ago and bought a sub on the weekend, and am yet to receive the refer a friend rewards, and I cannot for the life of me see when my initial game time ends/what day my sub begins/began on (to tell if I should have my rewards yet as they've def not arrive in the moogle mail.

They remind you bloody early to subscribe. I though I had like one day to go but turns out there was a week to go of my initial time.

Usually the patch with a new alliance raid is the catch up patch. Crafting wise things alternate between new crafting and mew combat crafted (the latter at the same time as new 8 person raid tier). The next catch up is in 5.5 next month with augmented crafted and easier to augment tome stuff

It used to be even better with double-dipping. You could hop out at :14 and re-queue, basically getting 5 zones. You can't requeue anymore though

I only really set it to heal stance when doing soothe leves, so it doesn't oneshot the mobs.

Vegetables roots and stuff give exp. Fruits are for changing the color of their feathers. Onions are for level cap. Feeding your chocobo while they’re stabled is a nice passive way to do it if you’re not actively doing fates or whatever. Either way works fine.

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. You just need to do MSQ and your job quests to be able to pick up other jobs. You don't have to get to 50 or anything.

NG+ is basically like, if you wanted to play specific quests through with a friend without making a new character to play with them, you can do NG+

You don't get rewards, but you'll be able to do the same quests with them.

twilit arch diadem is an option, but tbh ocean fishing is generally going to be more product...

diadem is not bad exp, but the bulk of the exp is coming from fishing up fish, which generally that exp is not amazing

#

collectables and leves you are sort of double dipping, in that you're getting the exp from fishing itself and turning in the collectable/leve

#

and the turn in exp is going to better than what you get from fishing itself
