You should not grind for it. Just do your roulettes and poetics will naturally accumulate. For the content you're in, your AF gear will suffice if you're strapped for tomes.

Sorry, if I just jump right into the convo but I'm having problems with my logitech driver (mouse) when playing FFXIV. I'm using a profile for FFXIV and it activates just fine but it "lags" at times. Every couple seconds it won't register the buttons that I'm pressing and after the "lag" it seems to press all the buttons at the same time.

Hi all. My AST just hit 40 but has ilvl 33. I have auto-equipped all the stuff i can from my inventory (and checked manually), and have stuff from levelling WHM and SCH so not sure why I've got a bit of an equipment gap. NPC vendor in Limsa only has things beyond my lvl and I don't want to buy stuff that I'm going to out-level soon. Any ideas?
My other Q for today is: I have not done beast tribes, and I hear they're good for levelling. They're not in a menu log are they? You just have to go to the diff beast tribe NPCs each day to hear about them? Should you go for the highest level you've encountered (so take my baby characters to the sylphs, and my current character to the vath/gnath whatever in HW which is where I am currently). And I guess wiki where all the NPCs are etc?

Revellor - No, but it's a bit of a grind. There's a reason "Housing - Savage" is a running joke. Getting my house took me a 3-4 day period of a LOT of camping, including one point I literally fell asleep at my PC. When a house goes on sale, there's a random timer that has to run down before you can buy it. The timer is, I believe, 0 to 22 hours with the average being like ... 8-12 or so, I think.

well my suggestions for you then is :
1.) install a different network adapter driver, specifically from ASUS's website (you'll have to look up your mobo model name)
2.) see if there is a inbound firewall rule for ffxiv in windows advanced firewall
3.) disable any startup programs in task manager and see if that helps as it could be something running in the background causing network confliction (might be using the same port or something silly)

Mute System sounds, click the gear on duty finder to do undersized aprties, and queue for someone solo. You can just withdraw when it pops, but it will test which volume the queue pop sound is.
