Yeah basically, so like, going faster isn't going to affect the cd or anything of your oGCDs. You can still pop them at the same time, if you're looking at a timeline.
The issue comes into play of you moving faster through your GCDs. So if you'd expect one of your oGCDs to come up at a certain point in your rotation to burst well with what you have rotationally, it's just going to naturally desync over the course of a fight. The oGCDs are static, your rotation is just too fast.
That's why a certain speed is recommended, so you have things aligning how you want them to, for your oGCDs vs GCDs

you want both in sync
your GCDs are aligned in a way with a certain speed so that when you use your oGCDs, they buff your rotation as strongly as possible
so if you go too fast or too slow, you're getting less damage from your oGCDs than you would be if you ran at a proper speed
and not just regarding your own buffs, but it's also relevant when looking at buffs that the rest of your party provides too

morning all! first of all, a big thanks to those who helped with my Qs over past 10 days, as I finished ARR yesterday and and an enjoyable time doing it. hopefully one day I can answer things as knowledgably for new bies. now three things:
- is there a way of managing the post-ARR 'slog' as people have describd it to me? I woould like to HW.
- I have allegan tomestones now from finishing ARR endgame (600 of em) and wolf marks (no clue where they came from). should I be susing these on anything at this point?
- this may be a question i'll ask in-game, but I am having a glamour nightmare (I did all of the final bits is praetorium in swimshorts looking like an idiot cos i was playing with glamour plates when my duty finder came up - tried sharing a screenshot but I don' think it will let me share...but just imageine youo and various heroes have saved the world and some idiot is there in speedos. felt so stupid). Is there anyont who can spend a bit of time helping me with glam plates etc...
- I have now registered for every base class, for the heck of it. is levelling these up any different to that master guide from reddit? Also, love how it gave me SAM at 50 with full gear and all the tricks and zero training so was just a clickfest (but i'll learn - did seem flashy cool)

But if you finished ARR, you should be able to just pick up the accessories from the Tomestone vendors and solve the issues if you have your poetics.
