Frankly, if you just want to do endgame and for some reason skip all the story, just buy a skip on the store. But some of the storyline in XIV is better than mainline games. Skipping it is just silly.

Just kill things, higher level is best. The challenge log for killing enemies near your level is a great boost too. Additionally if you have access to a chocobo stable in a housing area you can feed it krakka roots or other foods to give a boost of xp too

Glad it worked! Have fun, the companion is pretty weak at first but it will quickly become super useful.
I highly recommend leveling up the healer branch of your companion first. It's a terrible tank anyway, and usually you can deal more damage if you are being healed up.

I recently unlocked Gunbreaker and I really want to get into the class, but whenever I queue for something I feel great anxiety over messing up / annoying or disappointing my team. Is this just irrational? Do you tend to get annoyed with tanks? Personally, I always just figure it’s fine if someone is new and is willing to listen to tips. Alright thanks for the pointers! I just got a little anxious because a random drop aoe was really unfortunate in a dungeon earlier and the healer went all ‘next patch monks will be tanks’. I could have prevented it with a superbolide / better defensive buff timing but they were on CD so I felt pretty selfconscious about it. (Did prevent a wipe with superbolide right before that lol)

RNG on drop rate from POTD
but from what I heard my friend say on their farming of it, it feels around 10-20% drop rate
A floor set in POTD takes around 10 minutes or so at most with no detours and good Aetherpool
So about an hour or so on average per piece.
Delubrum Reginae always drops one and usually takes a bit less than an hour, and can be faster with very good groups and good lost action usage.

If you're doing it entirely solo and don't have a level 80 friend who can help you out with speed leveling, just find mobs that are around 5 levels higher than you. For level 12 I think the East Shroud has some good spots. Make sure to have your chocobo companion out to help.
If you do have a level 80 friend, then the beach in Kholusia is the best location for the unpartied tag kill method.

With solo levellling of BLU, your primary concerns are high mob density and that what you're fighting is higher level than you are (same level is okay, but you level so fast that you're best off picking somewhere you can stay for a few)
and then just abuse the chain bonus as much as you possibly can
and if you're going to solo level through ARR on BLU, acquiring Thousand Needles and Acorn Bomb are a must

sub starts when your current one ends, in this case your current one being the 30 free days
if you're trying to get RAF rewards or something quickly, you have to use gametime cards which are activated right away(although they only come with 60days iirc, so you'd have to buy 120 if you want 90)
if you're not then you just don't really worry about it until your current free sub runs out and hopefully your method of payment isn't rejected because Square shit is weird

Those cutscenes used to be skippable. They were made unskippable in SB to allow first timers to the instances to experience the entire things. It is extraordinarily unlikely that they would revert that change.
The reason MSQ is worth so much xp and poetics is because the scenes were made unskippable. Before it was only worth half of what it is now on both counts.

I'm starting the lvl 80 relic quest (For Want of a Memory). Can I start it as a dragoon but do the fates as a whitemage (leveling in Bozja) and then deliver the items as a dragoon?
I wanted to level my Whitemage.

i wouldnt say its very slow compared to fates
when i was focused on leveling, i got a decent amount of memories just focusing on skirmishes/CEs
