My logitech mouse software let's me set up a macro with timed key presses. I was think I could just buy a bunch of firmament mats, and just set a macro on my mouse to craft 40x something with an in game macro.

I've never heard of one, and the way they've stated it there isnt one. That doesnt mean it doesnt exist, but frankly, I wouldnt believe anyone claiming to be certain based on the general sparseness of any data on the subject.

Buying an MSQ skip is generally a pretty terrible idea when the game is so heavily based on the story. Plus you'd need to buy a job skip as well potentially to get high enough level to advance into ShB. People who do this on their first character generally have extremely bad experiences.
Because the net result tends to be someone who has no idea how to play their job being dumped into content that assumes you spent the last 70 levels learning how to play your job.
and other players tend to....not be particularly appreciative of that.

to be fair though, if you put even minimal effort into learning your class, you really don't need 70 levels of mostly casual content where literally pressing one button will get you through first
you can easily be more competent at a class by just spending 10-15mins looking into it that you would playing it for the 120hours or whatever leading up to ShB(or well I guess you might get stuck on one of the solo instance near the end of SB that a lot of people complained about back when, not sure if they nerfed these)

depends on the zone, tempest is fast cause there's no level sync so it'd be like 60 fates x 3-5 minutes per fate ~ 3-4 hours, other zones probably 5-7mins per fate x60

so if that's available to trial users that would be your best bet, but im not all caught up with the trial limits

then for 515 combat you need to complete CLL/DR norm, spam labby/ST/WOD 15 times (or non existant drops in bozja), a one time quest where you do HW and SB alliance 18 times each (or bad fate rng), and then finally spam dr norm or potd to allocate stats

It comes down to, because these tools were largely made "not relevant" once we knew the thresholds for the 5.4 crafts, and we know thats the last real recipes we'll get until 6.0, there's not going to be as many resources working on it.

the recommended button selects the best equipment by item level. arr equipment had cases where it would derp and suggest nonsense equipment (caster armor on a tank) simply because of item level and not stats. in that case you get 1 extra stregnth with suggested and same vitality
