hello! I'm super new to the game, and I came from WoW, so I have some noob-ish questions! first of all: when you get to the end game, what are the main activities? in WoW for example it is raids, PvP, and Mythic+

Ultimate: remixed versions of previous expansion raid sets/story bosses(usually) with high mechanical complexity, and no checkpoints

Alliance Raids are more or less the same difficulty as normal/story raids

OK, to get BiS (best in slot) gear
You need to get a mix of Tomestone gear and Savage raid gear
Savage raid is the savage difficulty version of normal raid. 8 players, and has weekly lock out
Tomestone gear you can purchase by spending a high end Tomestone, which you earn from doing endgame activities like raids, trials, Alliance raids, dungeons etc, you can only earn 450 of this tomestone per week
As is, tomestone gear is slightly weaker than savage raid gear, so you will need to get items to augment them once so they will match the item level of Savage gear. These upgrade items are dropped directly by savage raid as part of the loot pool, but can be acquired from alliance raid later (via a slightly different method)
Everything else: trials, raid (normal), alliances raids, are alternative sources of gears for players who don't want to commit to getting BiS or don't want to attempt savage raid

For very expensive items like that, you’ll definitely want to be at level cap

there are also very little gil sinks in the game so you will normally accrue gil as you level unless you blow it all on fashion

so just do daily roulette and etc, will take some weeks due to caps but u dont need to do savage e9s+ to get the 530+ ones
