As you're running, you can pop a regen on the tank. Regen and cards do grab aggro from the tank if it's not established early on, but the aggro can be reestablished by the tank using either provoke, or their ranged ability, or hitting said mob with aoe.

My understanding of the housing demo timer is that it counts down to the hour from when the house was last entered. But if that hour occurs during a maintenance period, the demo is official when maintenance is completed. Someone can correct if I'm wrong.

from there, you can place pieces of gear into set templates called glamour plates

Hey guys, im a possibly returning player and i had a few questions about the game.
For context: I was a BRD main in ARR in a static, who quit around the time alex raids came out. I had largely completed most of what ARR had to offer (i.e. had T13 on farm, my static was working through t8 savage but heavensward came out before we could beat it, i had my yoichi bow and kirin). Because BRD was ranged with no cast times, i was the team captain who had all the macros going calling out positions/times in the raids (related to a question later on)
I quit around the time when Alex raids just came out, my static was all disillusioned by it compared to the coils of bahamut.
I know several several years have passed since then, but if anyone's played since ARR or has knowledge going back to at least early-heavensward, i'd love some answers!
- What is the state of BRD? I remember at the time they gave BRD cast time for DPS and it was universally hated (people called the skill wanderer's binuet as in put it in the bin)
- Has the game largely moved on from the meta of back then? (i.e. grind your weekly tomestones, grind your primals for the epic mount (i.e. kirin), grind your zodiac weapon equivalent)
- How many hours in MSQ's would you expect for someone who quit at the time i did (i.e. early heavensward, alex raid came out probably 2 days before i quit)
- what is the state of ranged classes in general (i.e. BRD/MCH and any others i dont know), are they still as chaotic running around with their heads cut off while shotcalling?

DRK uses MP to defend itself, dish out damage, and maintain buff, and DRK need to juggle their MP.
PLD uses MP to dish out damage or heal (very rarely), they have less MP maintainance because their weaponskill naturally refill MP.

Old content is easy essentially. Getting the "current mounts" is a slog, but there is a lot more to do outside of mount farming.

The "Bloodletter proc" is now called "repatoire". Being in Wanderer's Minuet gives you that proc with the feelsbad still, but you have Empryeal Arrow to Force a proc now too so you can control a lot of that feelbad. Mage's ballad is the bloodletter stuff

@misty glacier you need to the quest "Forging the Spirit" in central thanalan to unlock materia melder npcs, and the quest after it "Waking the Spirit" to unlock melding as a crafter if you have them leveled. that said though, its really not worth melding materia as a low level. you'll be changing gear often enough as you level that its more hassle than its worth

I know this isn't really a tech support channel, but anyone else experience massive frame rate drop on PC after the patch? My game hasn't been the smoothest lately (going up and down between the upper 20s to upper 50s depending on my luck) but now it's completely unplayable in the single digit slideshow region.
