Apparently there have been instances in the past of people having to wait up to 24 hours for it to arrive. Usually it arrives quite quickly though (last time I bought something it arrived instantly) but it should say in your emails confirming your purchase which character it's sent to I would've thought?
Also sometimes it's worth checking with a moogle, there's usually a button somewhere you can click that will check for mogstation items if I'm not mistaken?

I'm getting the "Unable to Complete Version Check" error every time I try to launch the game. I tried editing the FFXIV_BOOT.cfg file, tried deleting, tried changing the version number in the version file, tried running as admin, tried running the ffxivboot64.exe instead of the ffxivboot.exe, tried doing a clean boot, tried disabling Windows Defender, made sure Windows Firewall was turned off, etc. The only thing that actually got me past that check and able to run the launcher was using a VPN. Personally, I don't find this to be a viable solution, as I don't want to pay an extra sub on top of my FF14 sub to use a trustworthy VPN just to connect to the launcher (I didn't need the VPN to download the patch files. Only to get past the version/update check for the launcher).
I've also tried uninstalling the game, but I continue to get the version check error and can't even get the launcher to open in order to start the process of redownloading the game.
Does anyone have any ideas? I know this is typically an error people get when the game is undergoing maintenance, but I know that maintenance has been over for about 5 hours now and I have semi local friends online and playing the game right now.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: Would like to add that everything else internet wise is working perfectly on my computer and the game was loading up fine pre-maintenance.

RDM doesn't really have infinite swiftcast, they have movement every other GCD during dualcast windows but they're still a bit constrained with that rhythm for movement. i.e. you might be on a hardcast GCD when you need to move, instead of an instant cast via dualcast.
You can use swift for movement alongside that too, and you have reprise and melee combo, but those won't always be available/good to use at a specific point either

if you're still leveling/in the process of gearing up, don't worry about substats and focus on level/ilvl. Get stuff with your main stat (intelligence) and go from there.
If you're looking at level/ilvl cap then you get a bit of a rough priority of sps to comfort > crit/dh > det. Recommended sps is 2k+, can go much higher (or even lower, if you really want) and still have a solid set. The priority isn't an exact thing and won't be true all of the time, but it can give you a rough idea

@ashen pendant it just kinda depends on how much crit you end up naturally with the pieces of gear you have. If you end up picking up a lot of crit, then crit can be more valuable. Otherwise if you're rather low crit, then just keep going for dh/det

Generally evaluated at a specific max ilvl since that gear is rather static for a longer period of time. Unlike some other games where BiS is a bit more literal and you can have a "best piece in this gear slot", for this game it's more of a consideration to looking for the overall combination of gear/melds
