I'd measure difficulty by the sheer number of mechanics, and how "forgiving" each mechanic is. For example, Fury's Fourteen will wipe the entire raid unless everyone does their job perfectly, but in e4s, if you misposition a blue marker, worst thing that happens is that you and 1-2 other people die. Iirc there's no "you will wipe everyone" mechanic in 4.

How do you handle AoEs as DNC?
I'm assuming you're asking how to AoE as DNC? It's a bit similar to single target, you have your 1-2 combo (windmill -> bladeshower), with a proc that can come off of 1 (bloodshower), a proc that can come off of 2 (rising windmill). Have to be in melee range for these. Fan Dance 2 is your feather spender for AoE, which can also proc Fan Dance 3. Saber Dance when you have the esprit for it. Use stuff like standard step and such when available
It's a lot of words but it's very simple--use your 1-2, use procs that come off of your 1-2, use other stuff when available

Red and Blue are your combo so you'll just do those back and forth all the time as some point. If green procs it doesn't really matter that much if you do green right away or finish your Red > Blue combo. Not at that level
