For 8man normal: yoy get 1 token per floor per week + 1 blade from the 4th floor. You can run multiple times to get the piece you want
8man savage: you have ONE CHANCE to loot per week per floor. You can get as much loot as you can win. Each floor will also give 1 Book per week and each book is seperate. Trying to run again after your weekly clear will reduce the number of chests and you cant roll on anything
24mans: You get 1 gear piece a week from the entire raid. You can run multiple times to get it. You also get a Coin used to buy upgrade items for tome gear and cracked clusters for materia on the weekly clear

I recommned you use the teamcrafter Simulator: https://ffxivteamcraft.com/simulator
get an account, set your crafting stats, and then in the simulator, you can play around with it and get a much more accurate simulation of your crafting rotation, and then make a macro for it. there's some all around crafting macros too, but you'll need to keep an eye on stat breakpoints

@heavy lotus you won’t have to worry about that, they both do a pretty good job at giving you various things to look foward to, however while I can’t speak for myself various ex wow players coming to this game have expressed shock at how accommodating the playerbase here
Wow just got it’s new expansion few days ago so it’s a fresh start though
Leveling to cap and progressing to end game doesn’t seem as bad as in this game either since the story in this game is mandatory for progression leading to lot of frustration in lulls in the story
I personally picked ffxiv cause I like the aesthetics more and wow seems like it has so much in it that it might be intimidating to pick up... on top of the apparent bad reputation every other expansion gotten in WoW (last one included) while ffxiv hit it out of the ball park with this current one

A fate chain is a series of Fates that yoy need to clear to spawn the next one anf so on until the end. The behemoth fate is a Super fate so it wont show on the map if it spawns and has a long cooldown
