I don't have the Steam version, so I'm not positive on this, but I think it does it's patching/updating with the FF14 launcher. So they might have disabled that function in Steam because it would reset the game to whatever default state is in Steam's servers.

Hey guys! I've been having a lot of fun grinding up my tank classes and just wondering what the current milieu/meta is at the endgame. I have WAR in the mid-50s, PLD 60, and DRK at 61; I find WAR the most fun but had originally hoped to get my PLD up to max level first as it was my original starting job.
I find PLD quite slow, which is particularly what turns me off from finishing that first. Does PLD become more "interesting" at later levels or is the "fun factor" -- which I realize is very subjective - tilted towards WAR and DRK for most folks?

I've read a lot that end game crafting, the crafts are all dependent on eachother, and so almost not worth it if you only want to do 1-3 crafts. Is this still true?

@trim cargo There is a ring that gives bonus xp and having a Job at a higher level than your current one gives bonus xp. You can do the tower of the dead to get great xp at any level as well as that Jobs hunt log. There are a LOT of ways to get good xp bumps as you go on your second or fifth Job

If you're at least level 60 and have access to Idyllshire, you can use the Stone, Sea, Sky to test your rotation.
There are also target dummies that a lot of people have outside of their personal homes.

I think it resets them when you instance in.
Just keep in mind that Stone Sea Sky is a time-attack. You will only have a limited amount of time with the dummy for each attempt, but you can do it as many times as you want for free.
