you can also try monitoring yourself through task manager/performance to see if anything enabled/disabled setting increases/decreases cpu usage

well generally when temps go up it means your system is running harder

oh well yeah if your system isn't adequately being cooled then chances are it'll reach it's limits faster because it can't maintain a low operating temp

it'll either throttle back performance in order to cool itself down or it'll crash and your system will shut off lol

If you're running the stock cooler and think its poor, you could always try buying something like a hyper212 evo or something similar that would probably fit. A chonker like Noctua probably wouldnt

That's only really a thing for AMD. Intel tends to have very narrow socket support: 2 gens at a time. Which usually isn't useful to most ppl bc it would mean upgrading the CPU within 12-18 months

If you aren't going to overclock then yeah, don't overspend on the motherboard. Something like B660 for Intel would be fine, for example. Also the GPU market is being flooded right now over the next 6 months, so you should be able to get a good price on a new GPU or the used market will have a lot of cheap cards too if you dont mind one that may have been used for crypto mining. Although given the market crashed for that, most of the 30 series would have been used for a year or less, which isn't bad
