My parents cable boxes have defeated me. Mom tells me her TV in her room isnt working with the cable box suddenly. Connect the tv in the kitchen to that box and it has the same issue of just going to a black screen. Use the kitchen tv in her room and it works. So I think it must be the TV. I try to move the cable box to the spare bedroom that has a tv in it ... has the same black screen problem. Bring the kitchen tv over again that worked the first test ... doesn't work now and goes like white screen even

swap cable boxes ... that one works fine in the kitchen and the one from the kitchen has the problem. Swap hdmi cables, still problems. Swap coax cables. Still problem. 🤷‍♀️

The only thing left I can think of is a problem at the coax junction box in the basement, so I told them to call up Spectrum and have them troubleshoot bc I have no idea anymore

lian li's click-together system is awesome, but the SLs are pretty small for 120mm

also if you want quiet, you can't beat noctua so that eliminates rgb right off the bat 😄

Hi everybody! I noticed my pc making a lot of noise when playing ff14 (and other games too) .. I think its some sort of fan making the noise.. (Im v noob when it comes to tech and pc stuff) I'm not too sure what to do? I dont want to damage my pc! So I'm curious; the case I'm looking at has the option for 10 total fans; 7 normally, then you can take the cable hider off and have 3 more.

But I'm wondering if I really need to use them with what I'd have.

I'm using a 3080 and a 5800x with a 360mm AIO. So I'd have 3 front intakes, 1 rear exhaust and 3 top exhaust.

In a case with a mesh front panel, would that be cool enough? Or would I be better off using those three side intake fans as well? (Cause I could save some $$$ not needing buy three more fans for over there).

Every gen needing a new board is excessive, but holding onto the same one for 12 years is bad the other way. The interconnect on that has to be so bad compared to a modern one, it has to bottleneck the cpu somehow
