Your WAN is your outside facing IP address and the end host is the server IP (ffxiv datacenter) you would be connecting too

They’re very well serviceable

Anyone here will tell you that getting a XLR microphone with a table and all would be better for quality and it is most of the time but plug and play you can’t beat Blue or audiotechnica usb stuff

But if you decide to maybe go for a XLR setup for the best sound and also learn on how to setup it and all since higher quality stuff is mostly all XLR I recommend the Behringer UM2

Though again if you want the best for the buck you’d need to go for a budget XLR setup which isn’t that expensive

And can deliver great audio

If you don’t want to bother with it either go with a blue snowball or the AT mics

Also I’d recommend actually buying a compatible stand for both, the snowball comes with a meh tripod

You can always buy an arm that goes right on your desk and a little adapter for the snowball and it becomes pretty gucci

at least with usb mics there isn't all that huge a difference in sound quality I think

so it comes down to features/design, and just picking whatever you like best
