As someone who has built and troubleshot internet services at the enterprise level, its about knowing how to read it and how routing works
so far, youve only left that running for less than a minute i suppose?
the log just shows that 2 points didn't respond, BUT the other points before those and after those, are fine, which means the signal can get though them anyway
those 2 not responding, Without others after them showing a fault, just means, those 2 hops, just arne't responding to all ICMP requests, they dont have to, its for testing, if the data is getting through, then its working
Now, IF the log shows, say the 9th hop failing, AND the ones after it also failing, then you have an idea of where the issue lies

I had a Q9550 that I replaced with a 3770K in 2012. It was gifted to a friend who had even worse hardware, but she only used it sparingly over the next 2-3 years after that bc it was slow. Eventually we regifted it to friends kids for minecraft, and even that it was borderline for in 2018
There was pretty large IPC gains for Core i-2nd and 3rd gen.
(75% gains between Core 2 and i-3rd gen. To see 75% again you have to get to 9th gen)
