HDMI was just adopted first so its more circulated in the market and is usually more seen in the consumer segment

so if you are on PC and you want to use say 144hz at 4K you will need to use DP

So I recently bought PowerDVD to play Blu-rays with on my PC.

But every single time I open it, it opens a new column in my volume mixer.

And it doesn't go away when the app is shut down.

And yes I'm sure it's closed, even checked to make sure in the task manager.

So every single time I open a new one, a new column in my volume mixer comes up.

And seeing as how sometimes it likes to crash on me because my Blu-ray drive isn't the best...

DDR5 has on average zero benefit vs DDR4 at the moment, and is much more expensive, it will be a couple years before DDR5 is actually worth the cost really, sooo unless ur trying to future proof (how many people Actually swap ram later on realistically), its actually currently better to buy DDR4, even 13th gen intel will still support DDR4

obviously the motherboard will have to be a DDR4 model as well

this happens every new DDR generation, always wait a bit

Yeah I leave Defender alone, but that's pretty lightweight, so I don't expect it to catch much of anything.

Not to mention most activity these days isn't trying to gain persistence on your system, but scrape cookies or phish you, which A/V won't prevent.

I don't remember exactly how it works, but adblock/noscript mentioned earlier should catch it. The only issue is tuning NoScript to not break half the sites you visit takes a bit

How do I get XIV to display on one monitor and another game on my second monitor while I'm in queue for XIV? I can't move XIV because clicking on it at all puts it into my foreground

And both games open by default on the same monitor
