they used to make alienware keyboards that I'm pretty sure used the same rubber dome/plastic chassis setup because they felt similar

now I just can;'t use them haha

Supposedly Shine3 first released mid-2013, but there were still some stock floating around up to 2015, so lets just say I got mine in 2014.

It's blue only, because I think the full RGB ones either weren't available yet, or were brand new and very expensive

Actually no they weren't. I think the higher end ones offered like 3 colors you could toggle through.

Also still using my Deathadder Chroma from around the same time.

The earlier models had a defect in the mouse buttons that would cause stress and eventual snapping of the probe that clicked on the PCB

So you would get around 18 months out of them before LMB would break usually. I had 2 of those break for the same reason, but I really liked the weight and feel so I kept buying them. They apparently fixed that with the Chroma obviously.

I've thought about just replacing the keys even, but I do think I'd like to get a modular one so I could possibly get it lubed.

The only problem with getting Browns lubed is you lose the tactile almost entirely bc it slips right past the bump too easily.

The USB-C cable really ties the whole thing together

Could be a little bit of both. I noticed when I turn the monitor on the Acer logo starts going all matrix on half of it and that is displayed by the hardware for a few seconds before the desktop actually appears.

if you plug something like a raspberry pi with a canbus transceiver into the right place and send the right message, it would probably work the same as remote start

but on a lot of cars, remote start isn't enough to drive the car off

that requires some key exchanging between modules

that said, physical access is king

now what would be interesting is if you can 'jailbreak' a car radio with a usb stick and load your own software to send can bus messages. OH BOY

again, there are security gateway systems to only allow certain messages to be passed from the radio

currently playing on a laptop hooked up with a 144hz monitor. Running the game on borderless fullscreen works perfectly, but changing it to fullscreen locks it to 60hz, makes the colors all washed out, as if I was using my laptop screen stretched out over the 144hz one. this time I decided to update things, like my motherboard's firmware and the nvidia drivers and all that, and now it seems to have gone away

to be fair, if your system is crashing a lot I'm not sure it's wise to flash your motherboard

you can try to use the ffxiv quick launcher, its not an official launcher but it can help mitigate issues like that

if you do not want to use it, you can try other things like:

making sure firewall is open to ffxiv
antivirus can sometimes block the client
if you have onedrive enabled it can cause problems with seeing the game contents
power cycle your modem and network adapter

and also make sure you have enough storage on your drive

it's a shit answer but it's honest... AMD drivers and FFXIV are not the best of friends, and there's no guaranteed fix

you're trying the stuff we suggest, and sometimes things like turning off windows audio enhancements or disabling steam and discord overlays, or even reinstalling windows can help

but it's basically luck based

Download both of these

DDU and nvcleanstall

Once you download DDU and run it, click the first option (clean and restart)

Once computer restarts, run NVCleanstall

Select the "manually select a driver version" and choose the most recent, a.k.a the 1st option.

When you click Next it will ask you what packages you want to include, just make sure display driver is selected you dont need any of the other junk. Keep clicking next until it starts installing.

Once it is completely done try relaunching game

Only if you have multiple monitors, whatever your main monitor is, will show display only. Until the drivers are installed again.

So for example if you have 2 monitors.

Monitor 1 is your main display according to windows and monitor 2 is not, only monitor 1 will show display until the drivers are fully installed

Hello! My FFXIV Keeps crashing once every one to two hours with "A Fatal DirectX Error has occurred (11000002)"
Its not my drivers, nor is it my card (I don't think its OC'd at all)
