high edpi is different, it's the in-game sensitivity multiplied by the sensor DPI

you don't normally use super high DPI on the mouse because it makes using the mouse basically impossible unless you're in-game

high edpi goes with the cm/360 metric, if your sensor DPI and cm/360 is fixed you can tune the in-game sens to get where you want to be

pixel skipping is a thing, kinda, but the odds of that actually mattering to you are basically zero so using game sens as the variable instead of sensor DPI is the more usable strategy

fwiw they somehow kept the band width (pretty much) the same. So an original 42mm band works on a 45mm watch

i went series 0 -> 4 -> 8 (if I keep one of those 8s)

the funny thing is how the screen is noticably larger even though the outer case is only 1mm bigger

but yea, s0 doesn't have ecg, it has a smaller screen, a far slower processor, it doesn't "tap" like the newer models do (iirc), charges slower, has less ram/storage so again, slower..

s0 and s1 are also pretty much the same. S2 introduced GPS and better water resistance. S3 introduced a cell modem and the ability to talk (although I think mickey talks on the s0)

s3->s4 was a huge jump because it changed the case and the screen and the cpu was way faster

i'd argue s4 was when apple finally figured out how they wanted the watch to work, because the software before the s4's introduction was kinda weird

in the original apple watch software, the apps ran on the phone and it was kind of a remote desktop/streaming thing

but the s0 was ALWAYS super duper slow lol

Yeah even for my gas car there is a big difference between eco and sport mode

Eco it feels like flooring it in an HRV heh

Then sport mode you're at 70mph and it's still in 5th or 6th gear

Mine has Michelin Sport4s they're quite good. Haven't tried to spin out, but in sport mode I can do like 75 around the 45mph curves np

Decided to get a new TV

It's like I was playing Final Fantasy XIV with a permanent pair of strong shades

yeah ive had that happen before, though not dim, but the backlight's power circuit couldn't handle the power draw, and would crap out, after it was lit up for maybe 3 seconds.
