I have a case made for positive pressure so I'm running four intake, one exhaust because there are holes punched in the back

and air sucked in from those massive 180mm fans will naturally find their way out

If air will naturally find their way out due to the laws of thermodynamics then there's not much point in adding new fans unless you want to fill in that space

late to the party but I would suggest a recent (gen 10+ or ryzen 5xxx) 8+ core cpu, any modern gpu with a lot of vram, and 32-64 gb system ram. don't even bother worrying about assets since placeholders will be your bff until the core scripting is done (in how the player interacts with the program, both content wise and UI).

also make good design documentation (as a reminder of what the goals are and to be able to change as feature creep eats away at time to implement the main scenario or gameplay loop)

Though flooding usually has water coming into the intake as exhaust pressure pushes things backwards, but yeah engines are just giant air vacuums

They compress air and fuel which combusts to create a force

Water doesn’t compress

So if you get water into the engine it will lock it up and stall it or damage it

Sometimes you can save an engine if it wasn’t driven too far into water but it’s rare cause it also damages all the electrical components and interior

Most people don’t know this but when you see an engine sized by “liter/litre” it’s because that’s the volume of air the engine hold

I think there are generally cables that will work no matter which you buy, but sometimes it might be like Displayport to HDMI you need or something depending on the connections available

What you want to do with it and how much you want to spend are considerations of course. For gaming you want something at least 120hz. IPS panels are color accurate but TN are higher refresh rate and lower latency. This mattered more in the past, but as the chips powering them got more powerful, you can even get IPS panels with like 165hz+ and like 1ms or better latency now.

Other consideration is whether you want HDR or not.

In the years since 2007, Diesel engines have become burdened with UEGs. The UEG that cuts down on soot (still get just as much particulate matter, but now it's too small to see - and is small enough to avoid the "dust handlers" millions of years of evolution has put in our lungs) need to regenerate from time to time. This is done in one of two ways. Either sustained operation above a threshold speed (drop below the speed for an instant and the ECM will insist on starting from scratch), or "parked regen" (vehicle must remain stationary until regeneration is complete, can take 15–30 minutes). If a "rolling regen" hasn't happened by the time the UEG gets a certain percentage of soot loading, the ECM will give the driver a message along the lines of "You have 5 minutes to park and start a parked regen, or I'm shutting down the engine and won't allow it to be started until a dealer-only tool is used to clear the code". An in-city truck won't be operating above the threshold speed for long enough to do a "rolling regen", and a truck that demands a parked regen whenever it damn well wants will throw a few dozen monkey wrenches into the pickup/delivery schedule.

For operational reasons, UPS can't tolerate UEGs on their local delivery fleet. Since they're mandatory on post-2007 diesels, their only alternatives are gas engines and electrics. Due to the local delivery fleet returning to the terminal every night, I'm sure someone in a brown office is talking to Musk.```

for an apartment
