Currently there are 60 individual versus per hour (120 images total), for like 6 images that make it into pantheon per hour

So only 5% of images that make it into showdown ever make it into pantheon

(I hated how sometimes stuff got censored without me knowing, raccoon and skyscrapers, didn't know words were stripped, this likely still happens...). In the end only one way: ban intentional abusers, sadly that can only happen after the fact. Ok, I don'w know if devs read here, but you should really add something -I don't know, prize, reward, encouragement- for daring prompts. SDXL is already good to make cool images, but where it lacks is composition (particularly of more specific and different subjects). Difficult prompts will hardly give good results, worth to be voted in showdonw and pantheon, but trying them till something decent comes out and can be voted is probably what next SDXL needs more.
I see people writing difficult, very specific, with a lot of subjects prompts, and I feel bad in being unable to encourage them like: "Dude, we know that prompt is hard and won't let you on the pantheon, but keep trying!" 😄

If one votes for A, is that useful (like: we conclude model A is maybe sliglthy better than model B) or might be damaging (like: the model A gets +1 point in a general rating and maybe ends up surpassing other models, C, D, E, which could have done better)?

A and B aren't necessarily different models every time (i think). Throughout testing, they've randomized other settings as well. And some concepts are just difficult prompts, as you said. So long as you can determine for yourself which choice is best, there's not really a bad vote in cases like this, unless you spend 30 running a "bad" prompt and voting poorly, I don't think it's such a big deal.
