sd is native 512x512 and relative adherence to the prompt, (dont get me started on lighting), sdxl is native 1024x1024 rez, with much more to prompt adherence and much better lighting, let alone 2x+ the details within the image..

sdxl is a huge step beyond sd models 🙂

yeah, 4sure, personally i use flux.. but it does not have the traction (lora etc) that sd has, as sd been around 3-4 years previous to all other models..

mostly because it's not needed ... i prompt stuff on chroma where i needed 3 control nets and 2 LoRAs on 1.5 ... it's nuts .... and the newer hybrid models don't need LoRAs at all ... you just give em some images and it'll figure it out ... LoRAs are on their way out ... they will ofc always be relevant for the older models that run on damn lap-tops ^^ ... every model class is here to stay

lora are just a trained way to get a certain type of image.. that is needed always..

Hello guys, I'm not sure if this is the right channel to post. I am trying a different technique where I draw, and then use AI to correct the drawing so I can learn from it. But lately, I am having issues with the AI, it draws things completely off.
I am not using Stable Diffusion interface because I don't know how to install it. I am using the plugin inside Krita.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Maybe the issue is in the prompts?

The prompts I'm using are: 1 girl, sketch, full body, black and white, anatomy, female.

The Lora I'm using (Not sure if it's the Lora, I'm very new to all this) is called Anime (NoobAI XL)

Hello, I have a very noob question. I keep hearing about SDXL, Pony, Illustrous, Flux, but I have a hard time differentiating them. From my understanding, Flux is an SDXL checkpoint, no different from ones you can find on Civitai, like Illustrious XL or Animagine XL. But why does it have its own setting in WebUI? Or am I wrong to assume Illustrious, Animagine, and Flux are in the same group (SDXL checkpoints)?

SDXL is a base model for stable diffusion. pony, illustrous - those are different models. poney is a hack job but changed enough to be a base model, illustrious is for it. flux is a model put out by black forest labs. think of them all as different sorts of sodas. you have pepsi and coke and the store brand's dark soda - they all look the same, but they don't taste the same
