I'm sure this has already been discussed several times over, but as much as I enjoy swords, bows, and knives/daggers, it'd be nice to have some more blunt force trauma type weapons. Something like the kanabo type weapon I've seen, a maul/warhammer/mace/flail would be fun. Nothing to where it's comically large like Amy Rose's hammer. Maybe even just a nod to the War in Warframe would be kind of cool.

I think it’s in the works, there’s gonna be a Shield with a hammer (Ode weapon, DE said they would make all enemy weapons obtainable) and they also talked about physical damage types (sharp and blunt) so we are definitely getting some. At least I hope because with a hammer every problem seems to turn into a nail.

And this is why I suspect these will never be added to the game. Jokes aside it would be funny if such items make their way into the game for a time limited event centered around humor and laughter - around April 1st perhaps.
