#How come you guys didn't add the mounts first before the teleports?

Teleport is limited, Mounts were planned first, Teleport was added as a way to hold players over until mounts are in, we do not know how teleports will be handled later. Before Teleport we just used Taxi which some people still use
major issues were probably encountered with mounts since their release was planned quite some time ago iirc. teleport is pretty much a bandaid for now i guess.
I don't blame them though, a mount not working properly can lead to stupid amount of frustration and game breaking shenanigans (I feel like skyrim horse is just the surface of what could happen)
I hope we get only mount and no TP
there also seems to be a number of things attached to it including story both with our mom and the wolf pups which we raise into our mount
also since we are confirmed to be going to other places the wevetseeds could be island locked for "tutorial island"
part of me thinks this was the original plan

i believe they have directly said this although what they consider fast travel is probably has changed
i think some very limited access was always on the table, but never as a major thing
the teleport being implemented first is likely because they already had the tech for it and needed something for the now "gigantic" map
Lack of teleports just seems like a inconvenience at the moment without the mounts lol
it is, i'm the first to say that we needed mounts the moment gameplay expanded outside of the "main" area
the game is about explorations, and they want us to engage with the obstacle we'd see on the road, something impossible with tp as it jsut makes you optimise all travel
it jsut got implemented because, well, mounts weren't ready yet
and they kept it limited so that we would still relatively play as intended, and would not throw a fit once the easy tp would have been gone
currently, travelling is fairly cool if you keep to 1 "area", I do like it a lot, but mount is for real just the missing factor to go from one to the other without issue. And the map is nowadays interesting enough that going from place to place isnt actually just running through a windows backdrop, which is nice.
The biggest issue imho is the tutorial area being low level, not an problem on its own, but it's where the enclaves (that's the name right ?) are located, and I don't have much interest in doing anything there
well, that part is also a scaling problem, it would not feel bad to be there, if we could not outgrow it, but that's kind of a different topic

Yeah when you want to farm things that are far away from each other the problem start to appear, I try to keep my farm into a restricted area and plan my movements ahead
I've been taking the farm slower to avoid this and do multiple things that are close to each other at once to make it flow less tediously
tales are a good way of doing something while moving in to a direction, provided you get one that goes the same way as you
if you're doing a full agari clear then yeah it's.. long
Their excuse for not including mounts is that they trivialize the content

Yeah because walking everywhere and enjoying the scenery is very engaging

Also I'd hardly call it ultra limited seeing as to how it's easy to save seeds and use em
but wasnt this in veeeeeerrry early stages of the game where we only had access to a small area ? 🤔 or did i get it wrong
I want a dragon as a mount, but I doubt they'll ever give us something crazy like flying mounts in this game.
