but the increase in highest virtue is noticeable. not everyone plays normal attack builds ^^ perfect spear throw builds will notice 😄
also, isnt it at least supposed to slow enemies?
Problem with these timed buffs is that they could be passives.
2e only get 3 skills per pact, one of them being a buff is underwhelming
That said, visually it is stunning
We only*
mh i personally like all pacts having something that affects all squadmates, i think it adds to the multiplayer feeling. but i guess a selfish pact wouldnt hurt either? steve mentioned something about..."bad virtues" in the future so maybe an "evil" pact can be completely selfish? that would fit the theme.
while dueling technically is 1v1 i think its cool my squadmates also get something from me using it
The problem is that having 2 buff abilities on a 3 ability setup feels a bit bad. (Looking at you Tethren, the 3 buff borefest).
No, i mean like:
Elderbloom is a "buff" in its own way. Good healing, and if you stay inside you might never die. But it is interesting because you place it on the grid. A regen buff would yield the same effect, maybe even more reliable for multiplayer, but it would feel considerably worse
isnt all tethren abilities buffs? or do you not count the taunt as a buff?
If you created an area where the buff stays, maybe a mast or even a flag, you would have a skill that has the same effect but is mechanically more interesting!
Yes, I have a big issue with Tethren specifically because it's just a weapons platform with 3 buffs for abilities.
To me, although all 3 thethren skills are buffs, clash feels good because it has its own interaction.
Call of the ancients is inexcusable
Call of the Ancients and Clash have no reason to be 2 separate abilities, they should be a single all-rounder defense buff.
Plus, seeing that both call of the ancients and bravatta are spirit, i wonder if they've been having a hard time desining spirit skills...
Replace Clash with an AoE ability that pulls enemies into melee or something.
Make it more interactive, the knockdown will never trigger in against any relevant enemies.
But this is about Duelo, not Tethren.
If Bravada is to stay a team buff, why not make it more interesting? Frankly speaking, stacking virtue on top of virtue is a very bland buff.
Duelo is about being some kind of battle dancer right? Weave and dodge around the battlefield, play into that, have Bravada steal speed from enemies for the caster and share the perfect dodge passive with the party for it's squad buff portion.
Or have it turn all dodges into perfect dodges for the duration.
