It's always a pain having to build your base set of wolves up over a few minutes. Would be awesome if they could build stacks to you start a fight with full pack, through the fight you might get 1 extra pack's worth of sustain, and then it's 1 wolf at a time on cooldown until the fight is over. Would feel awesome summoning your Pack in really quick succession!

I feel like making all the abilities cool down based instead of a resource base was a mistake to begin with. Changing it could fix quite a few of the pacts issues.

somewhere had idea that less then 2 the ability would bring the current count up 2 so its not such a cold start as it is currently but doesnt alter the abilityy Massively

1+1=2 / 2+1/3+1

i doint play orengal much, this seems would be more benefit to the 11 spirit or whatever it was and dump rest in grace builds then how i was playing witha high spirit build

getting charges would be intereting as well

I actually had it in my https://discord.com/channels/998758139405029478/1474268121597607958 feedback that Packhunt should spawn your maximum amount of wolves upon first use/ where no other wolves are presently summoned by you.

After that, it's up to the player to cycle them to make sure they don't all vanish at once.

Currently, the wolf count cut off is 11 if you're fine with just 3 and 38 if you want 4.

The reason I didn't suggest stacks is because of cogah and the ability timer punishment. Building stacks should incur that penality and we don't know if wolves will still be sturdy in future updates with stronger enemies.

Not sure what the "stacks" thing is, but it would be a lot less hassle if the ghost wolf ability just summoned however many you can summon all at once. Let any further summoning despawn and respawn. The pact still has the bug where using werewalker can lock you into a max of 1 summoned ghost wolf at a time, until you swap to another pact and back, or relog.

I read that to mean the ability can be used in succession X amount of times based on the wolf count threshold that you hit (IE: 11 spirit = 3 wolves threshold). That way, you can hit the ability 3 times and spawn 3 wolves in succession and, over time, the ability will build stacks again the longer it's not used.

Appreciate the conversation here. To clarify, my idea was you open the game and spawn in at max wolf stacks for your Spirit level - e.g. I have 12 spirit so I'd start at 3 stacks. Cast to summon 1 wolf, stacks go down to 2, cooldown starts, when cooldown fills, stacks go back up to 3. So on so forth, if you summon 2 wolves, down to 1 stack etc.

With this, you could have 3 wolves summoned and depending on cooldowns maybe have 3 stacks as well. Open fight with 3 wolves, have 3 wolves pre-stacked for immediate resummoning, after that you'r edown to trickle summoning 1 wolf at a time as they come off coldown and you gain a stack.

I think that's pretty consistent with common pre-stacking skill mechanics 🙂

honestly i dont mind either solution - all wolves at once or a stack system. just something less tedious than waiting a minute to get into combat every time wolves dont catch up with you.

also make the ability teleport far away wolves to you please
