I'm not really sure how anyone could say that the male characters look over the age of 25, or that they look physically weak. This is how people look when they live outside and spend all day in the sun, running and climbing with animals (they get sun exposure, they get scars and scratches, they do not use moisturizers).
There are definitely one or two male faces that have more lines than the others, but all of the bodies are equally as muscular.
The male player is slightly taller than the average woman you meet in the world.

Press F6 on your keyboard and you will save a screenshot in your Windows pictures folder under 'Soulframe'. It might be a bug that yours look older.

The Devs of Soulframe or at least the art department are chosing to put emphasis on the feminine.
I'd even go so far to say that while we the playars can make what we want. The Envoy is intended to be female.

I think the biggest and simplistic answer is that the game shares and engine but has its own Codebase. Also has a different art direction. Porting over Warframe assets would also involve alot of clean up and such and untieing it from Warframe would could take away time from just building stuff for the game from scratch.
Also just to seperate the game and give it different options.
But yeah this is an early version of the system and it will look much better eventually. What we have now is just temporary to give us something.
They will probably prioritize getting the older faces too us first before working on other systems and gradually releasing character creator in chunks in major patches.

The Wyld Pact armor, was the first time people really notice something...different in SF's design.

You think I'm right on the money. However you agree with the design choices and are worried that if this gets loud enough. Because DE likes money they'll swing SF into a more standard Dude-Fantasy.
