#Anyone crashing since last Hotfix?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I had one crash right after the last patch, but not from the hotfix. The game feels a little less stable though. The kind of problems that require a relog, that sort of thing. Although I could just be reaching my limit on tolerating the bugs 🙂
Its definitely more serious than that. Guaranteed crash regardless of what I am doing (playing actively, sitting in nightfold, doesn't matter). I've updated drivers, checked and optimized cache, nothing helping. Redownloading and resintalling now, will try messing with graphic and other settings later tonight. Something's definitely off though because not only has the game been shockingly stable until now but I can't reproduce it in any other game so far.
Do you have any sort of overclocking or undervolting active?
Soulframe and Warframe are known to absolutely despise those in some cases causing crashing
I do not, but full reinstall seems to have fixed it. Full hour now and no crashes even with multiple fights, effects, etc.

had one just now, was loading into another player's host, I noticed my fps exceeded 700fps once I loaded in and I crashed
Not exactly crashes, but intense lag spikes tanking both my fps and the network connection, usually while trying to join a host or loading the glades specifically. Ran a few tests and everything on my PC seemed to work well, graphics card and network card included, no rise in uses and no network problems outside of Soulframe as the speed tests and packets tests were running smoothly while I jumped from 60 fps to 3 fps and from 0ms to 500ms. Although it did make me lose connection to the host, my game didn't crash, just freezed very hard for about 2min
it's intentional for dungeon entrances lock your fps to 30, to speed up loading times. but it also can/will stutter a bit when loading. because you're literally unloading the overworld, and loading in the dungeon. same other way around.
as for joining someone else? very likely because it's unloading your world, and loading in their world.
yeah but most of the time it takes like 3-4 seconds and yeah it caps at 30fps, when it freezed it was 3-4 fps and it took 2min, so maybe Soulframe just was tired ? Idk could be a pleatora of reasons, just notifying it happens sometimes, not even all of the time
Also went up 500ms with a mention of 0ms (I'm most of the time around 20ms) and no change of uses in my RAM and VRAM perfomances, so it was maybe just random instability, it happens
500ms in someone elses party? Just randomly?
That could be a host internet issue, not your internet
Was in the glades too while playing solo
the internet related thing? while solo?
