Title.

I can easily approach and basically chill at a sinecure campsite for loong time until they realize and scream "gruul!!"

Also they are veeery short sighted. Increase their line of sight range. It feels both weird and funny when you run in front of them and they stay chill.

No. They're too aware even. Especially with those helmets

I'd say they are just fine. Funnest is to sneak up and back stab them. I'd even like if you could sneak up on the dogs, which somehow (well dogs have good hearing) always detect you and ruin the fun of backstabbing a whole line of them.

Let's, uhh, fix the combat first before we even begin to consider making enemy packs aggressively aware of your presence.

Stagger is wack
Parrying is broken
Enemy armor is a flat number
Grenades: exist
Exploding arrows: see grenades
Etc.

I think a more aware enemy type separate from the Ode would be neat, just so there isn't a whole camp seemingly materializing over a hill piling on top of you.

some instances it seems wonky but that seems more from the loud screams and such upon backstab kills. maybe having this audio muted or quieted (on some?) weapons?

thier sight seems to lack peripheral vision. which again seems wonky when ahead of the 180-270 and we feel like we would see that. the distance they can see seems ok they definitely more aware since p10 which i appreciate as i actually think about and pay attention to which way they are facing.( generally theres a good angle)...if dont the backstab usually fails becasuse of the alert

i think if u bump into them they get alerted and reason u chill there until gruuul is becvause one of them turned to face u.

more frequent change of direction might help them feel like they are more alert and require a bit more timing in manervering to initate a camp with backstab which 98% of the time is what i do, why i dont view sirin as a stealth pact. just has an ability that makes invisibile

I also disagree. I have never had an enemy not notice me if I'm walking in front of them. If I'm flanking or coming from behind sneakily, they don't notice me. Assassinations cause what appears to be some kind of obviousness if someone's looking at it from afar, but it doesn't have any sounds to it, but I kind of like it that way.

I do walk into some camps and find that every enemy is looking towards the outer border, which means I can sneak up and backstab all of them without anyone else knowing.

What is bad is when you have 2 guards standing side by side, you kill one and their dead body falls in front of the other, but that enemy doesn't become alerted.

It is good to have enemies like dogs who are hyper aware, otherwise the game is too easy.

Something like 'stealth kill enemies silently' would be a good weapon class upgrade.

Similarly, being invisible to enemy beasts might be good for specific pacts e.g Orengall could make dogs feel calm around you and not raise alarms.

It's only really the Thawtide enemies with their AI turned down to not agro.

Other enemies tend to get alerted once one is aware of you.

Once you get into opposing factions, enemies agro way too easily, Vadagar stag regularly stops fighting the player to run off into enemy camps, distant Baliqs will attack the player while they are fighting the Mendicant King.

+1 I also noticed that some enemies don't react when someone gets killed next to them (hearing). Enemies are too easy to approach (they seem to have a very narrow field of view). During sieges, all enemies of the area (let's say Kearnhold has 3 areas) could be automatically aware of your presence once you are detected.

One thing i will note which might be a little off topic is when two groups fight each other they're very likely to just break off and attack you

#

One example of this is Thrice Bound impidh, if there are thawtide hunters on him, his HP bar will appear much sooner than usual when you approach him and he/his adds will just leave the hunters to attack you
