#Weapon Attunement Cap

Each weapon having a different attunement cap is very confusing for new players and annoying to this particular old player.

What if the attunement cap was based on the number of virtue icons on the weapon? 1 would be 10, 2 would be 20, 3 would be 30, ect. Thoughts?

Edit: Also what if you could use the joinery system to add another virtue icon increasing the attunement cap by another 10?

+1 its been bugging me for a while now too this would be so easy to understand explain and impliment at scale plus it would give a clear way to scale items as the game ages

Is there an actual cap currently? I'm a relatively new player, started with magic weapons and maxed them out and reached 20 art. Now I'm doing daggers/short sword, still have more to finish but already reached enough points to max out the art tree entirely 32 or something.

So I thought there was no cap.. just depends on how many weapons exist from that specific weapon type.
