#Can music totems be accessible from all angles?

+1, and make it so that the char will be in front and faceing it. My character sometimes ports like 1 meter away facing the other direction 🤣

+1 ever since p11 or p12 it feels like it isn't *as" heavily "rub your knees against the stump until you find the interact button" but instead does what Ultramerc says and I think it should just be expanded to like the entire 360 degrees around the stump

+1 the square black ode boxes used to be this way. 1 side only. But they are now any side...this should happen for the statues as well.

Also noticed there are some that I simply can't interact with no matter what angle I approach it from

I agree with this, but as a little side note
When first played this, i didnt know there was a "side" you had to be on, but i figured i had to play music, so i hit music from the emote menu, and it actually worked. Idk if that was a bug or if it is something that is still working since i started in P10-P11

I have seen another thread or two about this, apparently the ones that people can't interact with are part of the Garren Rood quest. They look the same as other statues.
Something's still gone wrong then

That's what they reported, the statues just stay in the world and don't become regular statues.
Wait wait, if I recall correctly you only interact with 1 music totem and that reveals the way to the glade
But the one I linked in my video is supposed to drop a Juniper fragment and has no connection to that quest

the Juniper fragment ones are intended to only be interacted with once iirc
but still accessible if you use the music emote

tried it, it fixed the statue, but only gave the virtue buff and resources when i interacted with it and did the song a second time from prompt, will try more later to see if thats consistent

But you need to see the funny face when the statue is assembled!!
So that means that there needs to be a script that rotates the segments into position depending on which direction you approach it from 🤔
Being able to access from any angle is important
And seeing the statue from the front once assembled is just as important
I imagine having the character awkwardly magnet through the log to the correct coordinate for the animation is rather jarring
I value functionality over smoothness. Teleport us to the correct place if needed to have a proper view too as a first step. Eventually just fix the animation so it forms/rotates towards us whichever side we initiated it from.
this is what I'd prefer it to do with access from any angle. they already sort of teleport animals to us for totems when we play the flute to them, idm if it looks a bit janky in multiplayer, they can finetune it with smoother pathing/teleport
and tbh idm the totem facing the wrong way too
