#[Discord] Default reactions in this channel for ease of reading how approved a post is
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
The default reaction can be set in the channel's settings.
It is also possible to allow users to add to existing reactions but not allow them to add new reactions via permissions settings
(Setting this to "❌" should produce the effect described above)
+1. This would be helpful for devs to see what is more of a priority
more useful than a bunch of comments going +1

+1.
Emotes instead of comments that doesn't add anything to a discussion.
+1 XD

+1 i would love for this to be how it is it would stop a lot of people that just like to go in just argue and tell you you are wrong. It should just be a simple ✅ or ❎
I don't think it should stop discussions regarding the issues people may have. As long as people actually are willing to discuss it. We should be allowed to mention why we like or Dislike something. Since people can provide insight that others might've overlooked, Disregarded or completely missed. Even if those insight may not change their view they can get a better understanding. I've given a post a +1 even if I don't agree with their conclusion. but I agree with that they consider to be a problem, and I always add that in my comment. Here would be one such comment: #1445224103572279306 message
It's when people just say "No" and shut down that annoys me more, or when someone starts throwing insults is when it's bad.
I believe the strength of the emotes is to show How many agree or disagree. nothing more nothing less. Since it doesn't tell why someone might disagree then noone can learn from it. Not the Devs not us.
Edit: Fixed wording on sentance.
I think it could make discussions cleaner
use the reacts to approve/disapprove
and then if you have any further comments/discussions then you can comment on the thread itself
so that the thread isn't just like dozens of ppl posting "+1" to agree and it'd be (imo) easier to tell if there is an actual discussion in a thread
if you wanted to talk about why you liked or disliked something you still could, it would just be replacing all the +1 messages
bump
+1 I don't understand why it's not a thing
I'd like to add, it helps us quickly check whether we've "+1" a suggestion or bug report at a glance without having to follow the post and having a long long long channel list

-# bump, the warframe discord forums have this it would be nice if it could be the same here too imo
Another bump, this is still important and very easy to implement
Discord mods? Pls?
+1. No text

Leave the ability to add comments, for proper discussion/adding on to a take, but emojis for agreement at a glance.
+1 to this with comments :3
+1, feels awkward just typing +1 when i have no contributing thoughts
➕1️⃣
pls? 🙏

Yes please! I would like this change!
bump?

+1 Would definitely help get to actually see the discussion.
The feedback is for the devs. They apparently don't want it to be a vote system. I imagine some players would like votes as it is sort of an approval rating for their idea. I like voting, but probaby isn't needed by the devs, which is the whole point of the feedback.
I figured since they're probably back from the holidays it would be nice to give another look
mostly because I think it'll be more clear at a glance whether a suggestion with say 200+ messages in the thread means it's very popular (filled with +1 messages) or very controversial (filled with ppls discussions/disagreements)
it also helps for us to see at a glance whether we've added to this particular post or a different but similar post
One thing you can do right now is search a channel. Simply press Ctrl+F while reading the channel. If you then type "+1" (without the quotes) you see that 22 people have upvoted this feedback. You can I think find posts from yourself this way, although I don't recall how.
One thing I find interesting is some people will post over and over how they don't like a feedback. With a cursory glance, at first it gives the impression the idea is very popular, since there are so many responses to it. Kind of the opposite of what the poster with so many "I don't like this" posts is intending.
